The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan. Let me step back for a second. You know the FBI has folks, agents, professionals, analysts, virologists, microbiologists et cetera who focus specifically on the dangers of biological threats which include things like novel viruses like COVID. Uh and the concerns that in the wrong hands some bad guys, a hostile nation state a terrorist a criminal…the threats that those could pose. So here you’re talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government controlled lab that killed millions of Americans. And that’s precisely what that capability, uh, was designed for.

The FBI believes COVID “most likely” came from a Wuhan China lab leak (The Wuhan Institute of Virology). But then it gets weird because the FBI director is saying China killed millions of Americans, and he does not mention that the United States also funded the lab.
To be clear, it is a fact that the United States provided funding to the Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology for the study of Coronavirus. This is a matter of record.
That we are aware of so far the Wuhan lab received directly $750,000 from the Eco Health Alliance a New York based non profit. $300,000 also went to East China Normal University, where researchers did field sampling for coronavirus. These monies came as sub grants from the the US Government NIH’s original grant to Eco Health Alliance titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” as originally reported by theintercept.com. It is also crystal clear that the research included creation of “Chimeric” Corona Viruses. A chimeric virus results when the genetic material of two viruses are combined. There is dispute as to whether the research intended to create viruses more lethal or transmissible in humans. There is no dispute that the Chimeric Coronaviruses created at the Wuhan lab could have resulted in viruses that are more lethal and more easily spread in human populations.
Note: None of the Coronaviruses being studied were originally capable of being spread to humans. They only existed in animals.
What follows is a letter From Lawrence A. Tabak deputy director of the NIH to congress acknowledging Chimeric Coronavirus experimentation at the Wuhan Lab funded by the United States. He claims that the lab could not have produced COVID 19 but he oddly states that they were attempting to add spike proteins to coronavirus to cause it to be able to be bound to human proteins. This means a virus that could not be caught by humans previously could become one with that ability.
